The Midlands Workforce Development Board (MWDB) is accepting proposals to provide WIOA Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth Program (Including Business Services), and One-Stop Operator services in its three (3) SC Works Midlands Centers: Richland, Lexington, and Fairfield counties.

The Midlands Workforce Development Board (MWDB) oversees the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) program and funding for Fairfield, Lexington, and Richland Counties in South Carolina. The MWDB is committed to building a comprehensive, efficient and integrated workforce development system through a diverse partner network.
Some of our partners include SC Department of Employment and Workforce, SC Department of Social Services, SC Vocational Rehabilitation, Area Adult Education, Community Action organizations, Goodwill Industries, Job Corps, Midlands Technical College, as well as private non-profits.
Events
MWDB seeks proposals for consulting services to support Central Regional Sector Partnership. The consultant will serve as a convener to facilitate collaboration among employers, economic development agencies, educators, and workforce development organizations to address the local workforce's skills gap.
