
On-the-Job Training
Hiring a new employee is costly, in both time and money. The
Midlands Workforce Development Board has the solution to help ease
that burden: On-the-Job Training (OJT).
OJT is an incentive to hire a worker who has the skills to do the
job, but lacks practical experience. The OJT advantage is
twofold; not only do you get a great employee, but also the added
benefit of reimbursement of a portion of the employees wages while
you train them.
Your business will no longer have to devote valuable time to
recruitment efforts since we will bring the applicants to you.
